Hi All
Tim
This is the autobiographical journal of Arvil Bren, a somewhat reluctant hero who has been placed on an unknown quest by powers that he barely knows exist. Follow his journey as it is updated daily, Monday through Friday, and enjoy! These are the most recent entries in Arvil Bren's third journal; Politics of the Redoran. His first journal can be found in its entirety here. His second journal, Trail of the Archmage can be found here.

Wonderful news! Good to hear that nothing is wron, I look forward to Monday!
Horray, Tim is back! (and Arvil too!)
Don't worry, everyone needs a break sometime.
I'm just glad you're alright! :)
Yay! He's back! *does dance*
Flaking is fine - it's just not so public for most of us !!!!
Welcome back; wonderful to see you in print once more! Please don't rush things, we're all just so glad you're OK still !

Thank goodness. I had only just discovered this site when you started to "flake" as you put it. The timing was magnificent...
Humm. OK just don't let it happen again. There was a significant downturn in the global OKness stakes while you did your flake Tim. You just need to be aware of the effect you have in things like the FTSE. Lowest this month, and no wonder!
Nice to have u back, everybody needs a break once in a while.
Whew...I was worried something serious had happened! Glad to have you back!
Well that's a relief.
Looking forward to the next instalment. :-)
- Joseph.
Good to know you're ok.
Good to have you back Tim!
Flakism is hopefully resolved for a while at least, though perhaps not permanently retired. Just so y'all don't feel the need to worry about me I will tell you the 'source' of my episodes of flakiness. This one was Railroad Tycoon 3. Others in the past year, though less intrusive, have been Blogshares, Black and White, and Half-Life 2. In short, I get obsessed with a different game every now and then, to varying degrees (RT3 was a particularly tough one, for those keeping score). I say this with an eye towards the upcoming holiday season. I will do my best to keep my keel even, or at the very least communicate, but if I fall silent for a while about the time Oblivion hits the street it might be safe to assume that I am healthy and safe...just irresponsible.
i believe that Oblivion, judging from the DVD my Morrowinding son lent me, of the Oblivion "advance clips" of the game and general info,is going to be quite a game. The graphics are awesome and the characters you meet in it can "talk" to each other and you, in an amazingly real way - so, if there's a pause in arvil Bren adventure's - we'll know where he's gone!!
